So
I sent my volume of poetry off to a different publisher, because I
really don’t know about the GMA publishing thing. I did some of my
own research on them and found both warning against, as well as
success stories. I do know I’m not publishing with PublishAmerica,
where I first sent my novel. After doing more research on them, I
found them just too scammy. I would probably have more success in my
publishing endeavors if I looked outside of the internet. But I prefer
doing things online – its quicker and easier – so I figure It’d
make sense to try to work with someone that matches. If I can’t get
published the old fashioned way, my next thing is just send my novel
to every agent that I see listed, and one should take it. It’s a
good book, I know that, just a rather…different story idea. It
doesn’t really fit into a genre. At least a volume of poetry has a
specific mold you can put it in. Anyway, there’s my efforts for the
last few days. If anything else surfaces, I’ll let you know
