A Bird Flying North <poetry>

The poems in "A bird flying North" were written during the three years leading up to a major illness. Only some of the poems are autobiographical in nature. Most are just thoughts and observations on life, humans, and the world in general. The title of this collection is derived from a poem of the same name where I compare humanity to ??a bird who has broken the flock/and now flies wildly into storms and rain?.? This poem expresses well how I've felt the last three years; like a bird flying north.
